The CUBE can be used at home or on the go. If you are usingthe CUBEon the go, please observe and follow local fire laws. If you use the CUBE on a table, it is recommended to place the unit on a stone tile / plate or similar to provide heat protection to the surface.

The handles are designed to be ‘cool to touch’ and minimize heat transfer, it is safe to use the handles under normal use. It is best practice to choose a suitable location before cooking. Never grab the outer body during operation as it will be extremely hot, it is recommended to always use heat resistant gloves during the cooking process.

Once the CUBE has fully cooled, you can safely remove and dispose of used charcoal and ash with a Hot Coal Bin or similar heat-resistant container. If you’re using untreated lump wood charcoal or pure wood, the cooled ashes can be placed in the garden. Avoid disposing of ashes from briquettes or any charcoal containing chemicals, as these are not suitable for soil or plant use.

Using fresh charcoal for each cook is recommended. However, you may reuse leftover charcoal if desired - this will not affect the unit, though used charcoal may retain flavours from previous cooks.

For the best results, it is recommended to use natural lump charcoal. Please see user manual for the maximum amount of coal to use.

Once cool, clean the CUBE using mild detergent, warm water, and a soft cloth orscourer. Avoid phosphoric-based cleaners; use a gentle bicarbonate soda paste for tougher areas. Refer to our cleaning demonstration video.

Please ensure the CUBE has completely cooled after cooking before storing. It should be stored in an area that is dry and protected from the elements.

It is recommended to use the CUBE Travel Bag to store your CUBE when not in use.
